John. J. Gallagher, Jr., President, has worked for years raising capital for alternative investments in the US, Europe and Japan. Prior to joining Equinox, he was director of marketing and client service for Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisers, a long established and substantial equity-oriented, multi-strategy hedge fund management and proprietary trading firm. John worked earlier as a managing director for Gartmore, focused on their fund of hedge funds. He has also held senior roles in alternative product development and technical sales for Deutsche Bank and Banc of America Securities. John started his career with Morgan Grenfell in London. John holds degrees from Princeton University (AB, History) and Oxford University (MLitt, Modern History).

Robert J. Enck, CEO of Equinox Fund Management, has broad and successful experience in management and business development. Prior to joining Equinox Bob was a senior managing director with The Hermes Group LLC, where he provided management advisory and merger and acquisition-related services. He was a member of the ownership team that acquired Ascendia Brands (formerly Lander Company), a $200 million health and beauty care company. He served earlier as a General Manager and Vice President within Quintiles, a $2 billion pharmaceutical services firm. Bob holds degrees from a BS degree in Natural Sciences from St. John's University, Collegeville, MN (BS, Natural Sciences) and the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN (MBA, Management).

Michel Serieyssol, Managing Director, Equinox Capital Markets, LLC, has a broad range of responsibilities including both US and international investors. He is also charged with leading the effort to develop and launch our European business and UCITS product initiatives.
Michel joined Equinox Capital Markets from Société Générale where he was a managing director and head of the Pension Solutions Group. This group provides custom solutions to sophisticated institutional investors seeking to address complex financial challenges. Prior to working at Société Générale, he was a managing director at EIM, a leading fund of hedge funds group. He worked earlier as the global head of MSCI's Hedge Fund Index business and head of European prime brokerage for Bear Stearns International. He started his career in the financial markets at the MATIF, the French futures exchange. He graduated from the American University in Paris with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics. Michel is co-author of The French Financial Markets, published in association with the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
